Looking For 4 15 Inch Alcoa Mags...

Hello All,

I am looking for a set of stock 15 Inch Alcoa Mag Wheels for a 1970 Sovereign.

If anyone who has upgraded to 16 Inch wheels wants to part with the 15 Inch wheels collecting dust in your garage go to a good home, please let me know.

You will see them for sale once and a while. There is a set in the classifieds right now, but it says sale pending. I suggest you contact the seller in case the deal does not happen.

Thanks Richard, I am already on his "waiting list", but it is rather long and I assume he will sell them. I have read so much about people switching over to 16 Inch tire/whell setup, I figured that before I go 16 inch, I'd see if I could find a set of 15 Inch Alcoas. I really like the way they look on an Airstream!

If anyone has found a new design 16 inch wheel, that looks darn close to the originals, I would be grateful for that information as well...

Scott. Hi there! You've probably found this thread already. I just did this and I'm pleased with the results. There are plenty of part numbers so you can get stuff that is known to work. I wish there was another wheel like the '70's slotted mags, but I've not found any with that design. It's either the spokes or the round holes.

Call Robert At Roger Williams Airstream, they have done several 16" upgrades and have around 6 of the 15" Alco wheels for aroun $100.00 ea with Marathons when I last talked too him.

I found the dealership. It is 1007 miles from where I am at now. I'll call him Monday, but I would imagine that the shipping would break my bank roll (expensive?)

It does open the possibility of calling other dealerships to see if they have any used wheels.
