Is this an Airstream hubcap? Split rim?

These were on my Overlander 63 when I purchased it. Today at tire guy told me he thought my tires might be from the 70's... and they are not split rim., Yesterday the Dexter axle salesman told me the tires were split rim. Does anybody know for sure? Z.

I agree with Jim you need to find a salesman who knows what he is talking about, the wheels are one piece and not split rims. It is the wheels and not the tires which could be split rims.

It's a little hard to tell from the photo angle but the rims look like one piece. I believe the original rims on your coach were split rims. Get rid of the tires, unless you really want split tires.

Is that hubcap an inny or an outy?

The hub cap looks automotive.

Looking at the wheel, it may have had bullet hub caps with beauty rings. The clips are most certainly for bullet hub caps and the rust around the inside edge of the of the wheel may have come from the paint being removed by the teeth on beauty rings, or from the hub caps, or both. Just a guess.
