Center caps and lug nuts will fit going 15 inch OEM to 16 inch Sendel. Some have reported cracking of the OEM lugnuts, best check them out.

Yep, get some good quality lug nuts, perhaps from McGard. AS lug nuts are cheap nuts covered with a thin metal sheath. They work fine, but after a bit of use the covers start to crack and look dumpy.
We ordered 5 regular plus one locking nut for each wheel. They look great, and now it's a bit more of a pain to steal the wheels. Yes, I got two copies of the matching socket for the lock nuts.

Thanks for all the information, I am also thinking about 16" wheels for my 25 FB FC. My question is how much work is it to modify the spare tire rack to fit the 16" wheels and tires? Is it something a non-mechanic can do or is it best left to tire shop or airstream dealer?
Thanks

An easy alteration. Moosetags did it recently, and described the method in a thread. Not everyone purchases the 16 inch spare, some retain their 15 inch wheel/tire as a spare. The 15/16 combination will work as far as the nearest tire shop (in most locations).

I picked up a 16" steel wheel for my spare when I upgraded to my Sendel wheels.
I'll eventually pick up a tire, but for now I'm still running with the 15" spare.
I got my wheels through Tredit. I had them provide the valves, hubs, and new valve stems at the same time I got the wheels. Worked out very well for me. Glad I did the upgrade.

Or one can learn to fix most flats themselves. And since 16's don't seem to suffer from blow outs, an air compressor and tire patch tools should work.

What does the factory do when one orders the 16" wheels? Do they simply change rims and tires from the standard 15" to the 16"? Or do they also change the suspension to allow for the larger wheels ?

No suspension changes are needed. They just swap wheels.

Pulled the trigger on the Sawtooth Rims, wanted to be different from everyone else.
Also ordered my Centramatics, so hopefully next week I'll be installing these.

Does anyone know the lug nut size on the 2000 and up Airstreams like mine. Want to order new ones, and mine is an hour away to go measure.

I've used this "standard" kit at least a dozen times over the years. Works well and is fairly easy to use, sometimes even with the wheel still on the vehicle. Highly suggested.

What's the rim width on those? Close match to tread width?
Going to prep and paint black the balancers?
Should be a VG looking combination!

I have a Smittybuilt tire repair kit and a tire tool for putting a tire on the rim from my off-roading days. Blow out's don't seem to common with the 16's I've only read one person report that with an XPS rib.

They are 16x6 like the Sendels. 6 on 5.50 in, 4.25in bore size, 0 offset, hold a max pressure of 100psi (which I won't be using anyways) and 3200lbs.
I know the T03 was 3,580lbs rating, but again I have a 27FB and 3200 is still way more than I need.
I plan on painting the balancers when the show up. I imagine I'll have most of this next week.
And already found a buyer for our 15's, pays for the balancers.
I only know thus far of one other person on this forum with this rim; Mr & Mrs S

Gotcha. I prefer the mushroom plugs over the repair strips. But both should work.

Great. Did you ship them or sell locally? Wonder what shipping costs would be?

I am replacing the 15" wheels on my 2015 FC with 16" and read something about upgrading the lug nuts, what size do I need and what company would you suggest?
Thanks
