Help Finding 16" 6 Lug Aluminum Wheels

We were at Jackson Center last month. I saw the neatest looking 16 inch wheels on a 31 Classic in the factory assembly bay. And one of the visitors in the Service Center Terra Port has a similar wheel on his older Airstream. The wheel in the photo was on a 5th wheel. It is an 8 bolt, but I'll bet it is available as a 6 bolt, 5.5" bolt circle.

I wonder if any of you folks have seen this wheel or know were it could be purchased? I liked the fact that the backside of the wheel was painted black, which made the front side stand out even more.

I've looked on the internet but have not had any luck finding this design. Maybe someone can get me a link to it.

Thanks,

David

I'd just call Airstream Service Center and ask.. Doesn't look like any mass market wheel, and 16" wheel with 8 bolt pattern is not very common.. Could be one Airstream souces themselves from offshore, and thus not available from any of usual wheel suppliers. If it is one of their own designs, they'll tell you...

Try searching Sendal Wheels. That's where I found 16" replacement wheels with the correct lug pattern and offset.

You will find that rim and others here.

16 Inch 6 on 5-1/2 Inch Tires and Wheels | etrailer.com

I think this is the one you are looking for.

Americana Aluminum HWT Series S5 Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6-1/2" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - Black Americana Tires and Wheels AM22658HWTB

Airstream probably wants $600 each for them.

Bought them locally with some BF Goodrich commercial 225-75 16 . The rims were about 100.00 ea. Purchased at Americas Tire Store locally which I think is the same as discount tire.

The wheel that you are looking for is a "Sendel" Wheel.... I believe that mine are Model T-02 but they do not have the Black backside as do the wheels that are on the "Eddie Bauer" model... but they also are manufactured by "Sendel" --- I used Michelin XPS Ribs as a tire on them ....

The Sendel T-03 BM 16" is what I recently put on my Classic 31

Sendel Wheels T03 Trailer Black Machined Rim By Sendel Wheels - Starting from $82.00 with 5 SPOKE, Free Shipping and Free Warranty - Buy Wheels and Rims Online from Performance Plus Wheel and Tire

I bought mine from Discount Tire. The price was similar.

Have you checked your axels lately. It looks like it is riding a little low. It is purdy though.

Axles

Brand new, just looks that way because my truck is on about a 45 degree incline.

Hello All. Google "TREDIT" and they have lots of wheels at a reasonable price.

Thanks for the Information

Special thanks to Gold and Silver for the link to the website for Sendel wheels. They are the ones I saw at Jackson Center.

Someday I will upgrade to 16" wheels and LT tires. I'm nervous with my 15" C rated Marathons. A bad choice for a trailer as heavy as mine.

I agree that the 16" wheels are a good choice. However, you have that load spread over 6 wheels. The real load is on something like a 32 that has almost the same load on 4.

I have a 31. Does that mean I have 31/32nds of real load?

I see this is an old thread, but the wheels looked familiar. Are these them?
