globetrotter wheel size

Hey all, new kid here.

What is the wheel size and bolt pattern for a mid-60's Globetrotter? I may be looking at one that is a few hours away and want to take a spare in case I decide to drag it home.

thanks.

When built, it was equipped with a 6 lug on a 5 1/2 bolt circle, 6 inch wide wheel.

Caution The wheel must be rated at a minimum 2600 pounds, which leaves Ford and Chevy wheels out.

Welcome to the forum, new kid there.

Your target most likely will require a 6"x15"x5.5" Bolt Circle, 2600 pound-rated wheel.

Please keep everyone posted on your adventure.

thanks guys. I was hoping to use a wheel off my old chevy truck to get by but maybe I'll borrow something. Weather didn't cooperate today so we're looking at next weekend. gives me some time to think about it and get some things together. (spare, jack, basic tools etc.) The trailer is currently a hunting cabin in central florida and waiting to be rescued. Our plan is to add minimal occomidations for a while to get a feel for it and then eventually build an interior.

Great site, thanks.

Many truck wheels aren't heavy enough, weight-rating wise. The bolt pattern is the same as a GM pickup/Blazer, or a Nissan pickup, among others, but the weight rating for them is more like 1600 pounds, and the lateral forces on a trailer can exceed that amount.
