If the axle still has the manufacturer sticker on it, you should be able to tell by the numbers on it, as they are made as a single unit to order. Usually middle of the axle and if Murphy put it on, directly on top.

And if you look in the manuals that came with the trailer, there should be one for the Dexter axles. There should be 2 stickers on the inside of the front cover. These are the S/N for the axles that were installed in your trailer. Can call Dexter with this info and they can tell you what you have. At least this is how my Airstream came. Good luck, Mike
Thanks all. I was able to dig out the Dexter manual and there are indeed a couple of stickers inside the front cover. I fired off the question to Dexter and will wait for a response.
