Steel bends. Can be repaired in most instances. Alu is lighter and prettier but is brittle in comparison. Both my TV and TT have aluminum wheels and I am considering steel for just this reason. Repairs trump replacement to my way of thinking.

No. The OP has the Alcoa 15" rims that came on the Classic.

I'd put on the spare and go by Southwest Wheel in SA on your way back to CC and get a new rim.

New steel rims of that type are only about $50 each from etrailer.com, plus some mount/balance fees. So if about $300 is worth the peace of mind, then yeah, all four.

In Corpus, southwest wheel has wheels for $37.65. Southern Tire Mart will put them on. The current tires are in good shape otherwise we might upgrade to 16" truck tires.

Cracked Alcoa Wheels

We replaced our Alcoa wheels with steel and while they aren't as pretty, they provide more peace of mind. We were told that Alcoa recalled the 16" aluminum wheels, but not the 15" wheels. Does anyone have information on that recall? There seem to be enough instances of this failure to warrant a recall.
