Anyone familiar with GMC wheels?

Wondering if anyone knows the width of these wheels? The guy doesn't know anything other than the 16" , 6 lug measurements. Actually, he said "Not sure of the dimensions but they are GM or Chevy stock rims off of suburbans, tahoes, and any genaral motors pickups with 6 lug nuts"

Here's the link: GMC 6 lug 16" oem rims set of 4

It's a good hour drive from my house, so I don't want to go on a wild goose chase. I want to change to 16" rims so my centramatics work. Need new tires too. Just want to save some $ on the rims if I can. Thanks for any advise!

Becky, I think the offset is not right for your trailer. It needs zero offset, and where the lug holes are looks like they would sit in toward the inside of the wheelwells too far. I also don't think they are the right weight rating, and most OEM GM wheels have "maximum inflation 35psi" on them somewhere.

Thumbs up

I am using the Centramatics on the Classic 15" wheels without a problem. (Part#200221-204 AJP-10" Special Airstream), Why are you unable to use them?

They wouldn't seat into the rim, so the rim can't be mounted back on. It would need longer posts for the rims (which I read on here was a pain) and some kind of a spacer, I believe. My son road around with one of them on his pick up for about 2 months before I got around to trying them on the trailer. Unfortunately, they don't work the way the rims are. I can't return them, because my son used one of them for 2 months (he didn't want to believe they worked). Anyhow, the rims look like his GMC rims. I'm not sure what brand they are. They do have a zero offset & are 7", though.
I guess I'll keep looking for something that will be suitable.

Becky,

Give the factory a call 1-800-523-8473. They may be able to help. I had two different jobber's give me the wrong part number for my Classic.
