'72 Sovereign update on running gear inspection

.... Airstream still at the shop with the wheels off, bearings repacked, they apparently had to order some tiny brake springs that had rusted.... But on the bright side he said both axles looked good... Might get it back either tomorrow or Monday.... Then finally off to the tire shop.... Also the curtains are here..... I'll post a recommendation for the shop after I get it back but so far it looks like they are competent and very reasonable, they are doing my wheels, some hitch welding and say they might be able to fix the AC

There is always an "adventure" when you own an Airstream. Mostly fun, but sometimes expensive! We are glad that you are giving yours a thorough make over and safety check before you head out on the road. Keep us posted on the progress as you go!

Thanks.... I feel fortunate so far.... Lots of stuff that could have been wrong are ok so I feel pretty confident I will be camping in a months time.... At least a short trip
