I would also like to know about any issues in this area.

I've experienced, nor heard of any problems. The offset with Centramatics is maybe 30 - 45 thousands inch. Maybe 1/2 - 1 mm.

16" Wheels, Centramatics, and Nev-r-lube hubs...
I've been running 16" Sendels, Michelin Ribs, Centramatics and new Torflex axles/horizontal shocks with stock hubs since May 2012. With 16,000+ miles logged since then, I've not had a lick of problems (after having a massive Goodyear Marathon failure on right front in April 2012) with this running gear, tire/wheel configuration.
I've been practicing an annual lug nut torque/hub inspection routine just to get into the running gear for bearing inspection, lube, and general procedure. For me, it buys me peace-of-mind and a confidence knowing that the hubs are in good order as I'm rolling to the next destination. I keep spare bearings sets and a bearing/race tool kit with me at all times in case of emergency. Haven't had to use the kit on my AS, but I ran into a dude last year in CO who was experiencing a hub failure and helped him get rolling again with my kit. He had never inspected his bearings EVER since having his travel trailer - over 8 years!
I'll be keeping my standard hub/bearing set...
Be well and travel safe!

Our five SenDel T03-66655T aluminum and S62-66655SG steel spare wheels and Dill TPMS #1506 - 453 were acquired through Discount Tire. The two different sizes of Centramatics (200-221 Special for 15" wheels and 300-356 all A plates for 16" wheels) were purchased directly from Centramatic. The Michelin tires (with the 15" for the 25FB and the 16" for the 31' Classic) were purchased from and mounted by CostCo.
I did the mounting and tire swapping myself at the trailer store area. Thus I knew the torque was done correctly.
BTW. Make sure the letter of the Dill TPMS sender is chalked on the tire (I also used permanent marker on back of the wheel) so you get the right receiver programer piece into the correct space on the Dill TPMS. I learned that the hard way and CostCo had to break down the tires to figure that out for me.

switz - I had Dill TPMS installed in my AS tires; I have a set to install as well in the TV tires when I get them changed. The AS ones were done at JC. Here's the issue: the wheels on my curb side register the pressure on the receiver, but those on the curb side don't. Why would this be?

One more try on the explanation?
Just a comment, remote antenna where is it located?
I just ran mine under the cab back to the hitch area instead of CB style haven't tested yet.

K\I just bought a set of 16" wheels and 235/70R16 for the 1970 Overland project. I look forward to seeing how they work. The tires on the 34' are due for change out next year and I will most likely replace them with 15" LTX/MS2 They are a slightly lower profile than the existing 15" so end up 1/2 inches smaller in diameter.

I got a quote back from the Airstream Service Center in Jackson Center. The cost to go 16" wheels and Michelin LT tires is now $425 per tire mounted on the Airstream.
I went through my internet research and found that performanceplustire.com had the Sendel T03 wheel (T03-66655T) with a Michelin LTX M/S 2 (LT225/75R16) mounted, balanced, and shipped for $330 per tire.
I placed an order for 5 of these tires and wheels this afternoon.
I will mount the wheels/tires myself when they arrive. I also plan to order a set of Centramatic Balancers. Does anyone have a suggestion where to order these?
Brian

Actually, for the 16" SenDel wheels, get the proper sized Centramatic units that are slightly larger in diameter:
300-356 all A plates for 16" rims (installed on our Classic)
200-221 Special for 15” rims (installed on our 25FB)

I forgot about that....I had my CMs before the swap. The 200-221s work fine, but larger diameter would be better, in that thy would become effective at a lower (albeit not much) speed.
I cannot remember the man's name, but there is an obviously older man at the HQ, who know his stuff and is very helpful about AS fittings.

I just ordered the balancers directly from Centramatic. Jerry wasn't in and I spoke to Hugh who seemed very knowledgeable about the balancers to be installed on Airstreams when switching to 16" wheels. He told me that the 200-221 Airstream Specials were the ones that I needed.
I placed the order and the total came to $213.95 including shipping.

Did he recommend the 200-221 over the 300-356 for any particular reason ? I would think the slightly larger version would be somewhat more efficient.

I did mention to him that some folks had recommended the 300-356, and he said that the 200-221 was the one that I wanted for an Airstream that was being converted to 16" wheels. He didn't comment on the larger balancers. He seemed really knowledgeable, so I went with his suggestion.
