I'm just so blessed I guess. I went this morning and weight'd my TV on a$150,00 scale and it didnt cost me nuttin. My old boss was thrilled that I came in and he invited me back (after closing of course) with the trailer to play on that scale all I want. He wants me to do the "FULL MONTE"Get a toungue wt and split weigh each axle on the whole rig. WHAT A GUY! Its 80ft long in three sections ,I bet I can get this rig balanced.
Just remember with wheel-scales(dogrunner will back me) to be accurate U should really have a scale under each end of the axle or maintain level with an board of the same height on the other end. I also have been on the "Portables"DogRunner many times in 45 yrs of driving(RETIRED)over the road.
If anyone is intrested I'll post my findings. Wife and I are new owners of a Vintage 1977 27ft Overlander
Keep em Balanced
Happy Towing
Roger

What Roger said-Level is a must for accurate readings!
I'm real interested in your findings Roger- especially the side to side findings.
And how much the weight changes with adjustment to your WD setup. Thanks in advance. Tim

Well, here's something to think about, how many times have you heard this "You never listen to me"
I always say "You look great Dear, if listening to you were so important then our ears would be on the front of our face, not our eyes!!

You might also check with your local SCCA autocross and/or club racing chapter. They usually have scales and probably wouldn't mind your using them at a club event after everyone is done with them, or locally, if you perhaps offer some BEvERages. Alternatively, you can buy them and use them for your needs, then see if they would want to purchase/rent them from you.
