We have a 72 International (31ft) and have a sway connect on the side of the tongue that is unlike anything I have ever seen. It looks pretty cool and has some adjustment features. But it is set at an odd angle to the truck hitch and won't take a normal tesion bar. It actually looks a little like a sundial with marks around the perimeter for adustment.
I would love to see if it works, but have no idea what it is, if I can get a tension bar that fit, or if it even works at all.
I'm hoping with the vast knowledege on airforums, someone might give me some insight on this mystery.
That device is a "friction type" sway control, that was a JOKE,
and still is, the day it hit the market.
Do yourself a "huge" favor by cutting it off and using it as a paper weight.
