Upgrading Tekonsha Sentinel Brake Controller

Finishing up some trailer upgrades before our next camp outing (areas along Scenic Highway 12) and I'm wondering about the benefits of upgrading the Tekonska Sentinel that came on the TV (2001 F250, aka Gus "Check Engine Soon" Guzzler) to a newer unit like a Tekonsha Prodigy P3. The older unit works okay but does require leveling and checking/adjusting power level.

Anyone make this upgrade and have any comments or recommendations on the relative cost/benefits?

I replaced a decades old controller a P3. I can't say enough good things about it. It was money well spent.

Thanks for your comment - you were correct. I just pulled the AS through Salt Lake City rush hour (i.e. combat) traffic as well as down Parley's Summit on I-80 using the new P3.

Much nicer and less hassle.
