I can't believe that the arrow wouldn't contribute to improvements in

more than just tire wear...how about the pilot and co-pilot

ok pieman, sorry for switching around threads,

your question DOES makes sense right where u put it...

so my long vague answer is over there...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f40/...tml#post482040

ultimately i suspect tv tire wear has to do with weight distribution, primarily.

cheers

Tangentially to Haha:

Saw an ad in the new Trailer Life from Jim Hensley about a new improved hitch. The ad made a point about saying that he is no longer associated with Hensley Mfg. It referenced a web site that simply offers a white paper. The ad also had a phone number and a message that says "save if you purchase in 2007".

But no description of the "new" hitch.

Jim Hensley

What is the web site that Jim Hensley has for this new hitch?

Sorry to be so slow - I usually only check the New Posts area and missed your question. FREE Report: Trailer Sway Control Facts. But it doesn't take you anywhere but to a form.

I have taken the plunge and ordered a refurb haha from the factory. It should arrive next week, so I have a project.

Wish me luck!

Pat, go back to post 203 and you will see what you will get. It will also give you an Idea of how to install. Good luck and happy towing.

I think I read that Propride is the new hitch company set up by Jim Hensley.

congratulations pat!

and good luck with the installation.

jim's pictures are great.

don't forget to download a copy of the owners manual too.

my understanding is tha mr "h" has never been involved with the company that currently sells hahas...

as for the potential new hitch, company and so on,

here is a thread over on rv.net on the topic.

RV.Net Open Roads Forum: Travel Trailers: Hensley Alternative???

really it doesn't have much to do with 'the users guide' or our hitches...

and there are links in the rv.net thread that take you to another NEW forum.

looks like they've figured out that our efforts here HELP users and SELL products.

so perhaps someone wants to start a NEW THREAD here on this topic?

please keep in mind this thread is to HELP haha current haha users and potential users,

and like back packing....

take only pictures and leave only haha foot prints...

cheers

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f161...ach-37994.html

now back to the straight arrow stuff.

cheers

Thanks, guys.

I almost wavered on the purchase decision because of the new hitch possibility. And the possibility of haha having to drop prices due to competition. However, as 2air mentioned - who wants to be a test pilot when the whole point of this is to take some towing risk off the table in the first place? Ok maybe he didn't say all that....

Anyhow - this thread is certainly going to help me get the job done right the first time. If I don't start after the first six-pack, that is.

Pat, you'll be extremely happy with your haha. They won't be dropping prices so picking up a used one is a good buy for you.

With the new hitch there won't be any "test piloting". This thing has had more testing done on it than anyone could ever imagine.

If you have any questions about your installation don't hesitate to use me as a resource. I've personally installed more hahas than anyone working at the company.

Sean,

Are you the person who wrote claim #13 on the Hensley patent?
