I will have the dealer install the haha on the Silver Lining when she comes in.
Now my husband may need some help with hook- up, so I will let him read some of this thread. We have a Reese now for our 22' SOB, and he is quite used to that hitch.

I haven't had time to read this entire post (great by the way) and the answer to my question is prob in here somewhere but I want to know....how low does the haha hang below the ball receiver? From the photos it looks like 10+ inches.

Thanks 2air'
The only reason I ask is because I have a driveway that slopes and then levels out. To "level" my trailer the hitch almost touches the ground on the "slopy area". I'll figure it out....I'm getting a haha! anyway!
I just called my dealer
2990.00 plus 250.00 to install (2 1/2 hours to install?)
My dealer is checking with Hensley to see if they're gonna run a xmas special like they did last year. (I thought that was a nice thing for the dealer to mention)
I'm gonna finish ready this thread tonight.... o yeah...and order a pair of the aligning stick thingys!
Thanks!
Dennis
AH, now I am concerned about that clearance. Our current set up 1 ton van with 22'SOB, and Reese hitch, hits the sidewalk when we back into our driveway. We have to put boards under the tires to prevent damage to the hitch. If the haha is much lower than what we have now, I am not sure we can get into our driveway.
The road we live on slopes down at the edges, and then a fairly large lip on the driveway entrance, with a large angle up to the sidewalk, which is of course, level with our driveway.
If we come home and cannot back in, that will be a problem. We could park it in the street for a few days, but not too long.
Maybe we could get some of those things they use to drive up cars to change the old, and lay them in the street to lessen the slope.
