Possibly the receiver is stronger at frame level than suspended below frame level?
Possibly they anticipated Suburban owners would all have those sob trailers that sit up real high off the ground?
Things that make you go hmmm.
I haven't done the research yet, but a Tundra may need a little drop with the Hensley to get the stinger under the ball which is usually level with the bumper. I will find out when we get home from this trip.
Are you going to the Canopener rally in Florida in July? When we go to Canopener we will drive through Hattiesburg which looks to be within 30 miles of Poplarville.

Dang, you are quick, M.Hony.
No, I haven't got setup for the Canopener but need to (if not too late already). Yes, you would be in close proximity heading that way, though. Hell, if you want to, I'll rig it down off the TT, throw it in my motorcycle trailer and meet you around Jackson...I'm always looking for an excuse to ride. You take it home, play with it, try it, tweak it, etc. and if you decide you want it, we'll just square up later.
I'd be hesitant to suggest you rig it up in the middle of a trip...but that's just me. I'll work with you any way you want to handle it.
I trust you...its not like you are from Alabama or anything ;-).

It's never too late to sign up for Canoper.
Loop 103 is full. There are some folks on loop 102 and Loop 101.
We are enjoying our trailer right now.
I'm sure the picture is upside down or backwards. It's an Apple compatibility thing...

Okay Z - watch the Alabama comments. I am a transplant here but I have let the locals who have adopted me make me a bit sensitive to criticism.
By the way, go ahead and sign up for the Canopener. It is a really good time and lots of great folks attend. Yes, even some from Alabama.

Here's a PP question - I believe that the tilt of the head is set from unhitching when you get the WD bars lose enough to kick (no more, no less). And that should be the angle (tilt) you come in on when you hitch up next time. Why does that angle sometime change between hitching? Good news is the answer is to just adjust the WD jacks and the head sort if slips right on to the stinger. But how does this change after a week of just sitting in storage?

The ground in front of the trailer heaves and sloughs in accordance with the great sidereal gravitational tides. The trick is to return at the same point in the cycle as when you parked the trailer.
Experience will teach you all these things, Grasshopper.

Parked on concrete the seemingly obvious answer is that the TV load was changed (including tire pressure). This would change the entry angle.
The above answer is much more fun, though.

It seems to me more likely that the angle of the tow vehicle rather than the trailer is changing. This could be something as simple as a full fuel tank versus a near empty one. However any difference in the loading of the TV can cause a difference in receiver angle. In our case, we often drop the trailer off at storage with the truck bed full of gear. We usually pick the trailer up before we load the truck.

I think you're both (AgAu and slow) right. The TV is probably less than half full of fuel when unhitching and always full when hitching. It's also likely loaded very differently at each time...
That makes sense to me.
First answer was best though :-)

North Abutment campground Grenada Lake MS.
We will be there next weekend, too.
Labor Day weekend we will be at George Payne Cossar State Park Yocona Ridge campground. It is just as beautiful as Grenada. There is a hayride every Saturday night and there is a herd of tame deer in the park.

That will be the only time I've camped with more than one other Airstream in the park.
It will be our first Airstream only rally.
An entire campground full of shiny silver trailers- awesome.

If it is something that has not been covered in the past 700+ posts, is there a specific question you have that we can help with to get the thread back on track?

No, but I learned a lot from this thread before I bought my 3P, not so much about where you are camping. I am not having any problems using mine and I do want to stay connected with any breaking news about issues.
