No way! I don't have anything to do with writing patents. I only license them from inventors who would like to have their products manufactured and marketed. For their patents they receive a royalty from each unit sold.

I have no intention of ever attempting to fight for or against a patent. It isn't worth the time or energy. I would rather spend my time and energy servicing customers and growing my company.

Can you imagine running that claim #13 by an English professor?

Yeah. That one sentence contains 1225 words, and only one period.

that's really nice of you and we users will really appreciate your help.

it a big chunk of iron and parts wear out, or we break stuff or we tinker with the settings (screw things up)

as many of the photos will confirm.

potential users, new users and long time travelers, or folks doing the diy install come here and (i think) find the thread useful.

we've managed to avoid the 'does it work' and 'is it worth the price' never ending exchanges, in THIS thread.

we've got 10 other threads for that debate.

again it's really good to know you will check in here and help us.

cheers

Robert,

Your spring bar jacks are on the wrong side of the frame bracket pin. Turn them 180 degrees and hang the jacks between the pin and the orange head.

Robert,

Don't feel bad, I had one jack on the right side of the pin and one on the wrong side of the pin for five years. I didn't notice it until I studied the photos in this forum.

Duh

No, not really, but it does put more of a bending force on both the jack tubes and the pins if the frame brackets are at the 25.5" recommended distance from the ball.

nah, you're missing the whole point RC...

that's the pin hole issue i pointed out.

i think you missed duane's post and install correction in #317.

the screw jacks are HANGING off the bracket PINS 180 degrees off.

in other words they are hanging backwards....

go back and look at the close up photos in JIM CLARKS install (post 203) or mine or others...

then ZOOM in on YOUR pics right at the frame bracket PINS where the jacks are mounted and held with the golden lock nut/ring thing....

and you can see the issue, the jack barrels are closer to the trailer and should be rotated 180 so they are away from the trailer...

cheers

Very good! The strut should be in the bottom hole on Airstreams.
