sway bar?

welll, as i learn more and more, i learn that i better save a bunch of money to reno my (as yet unpurchased) as. How much does it cost to have a sway bar put in? i anticipate a 1970's sovereign or ambassador. something approx 30 ft.

If by "sway bar" you mean just a friction anti-sway bar at the hitch, they go for about $70, but if you mean a full weight distribution hitch with sway control, they go from $300 to $2500 depending on how good of one you want.

It would be more helpful, and we good advise you more accurately if you told us what tow vehicle you will be using.

FYI, this September we're having a forum rally at Wateree SP SC just a bit southish of Charlotte. It's in the rally section. Maybe 50 rigs all sizes. Come on down, meet some folks kick some tires.
