Suburban hitch replacement install question

OK, based on all the discussions, I have decided to replace my OEM hitch with the Putnam Class V. I have a 2004 2500 4x4. One question please. How do i access the passenger side bolts with that "black box" hanging just inside the frame covering the access opening?
