Thanks to all for the good advise. If I can find it reasonably priced, I think I'll go with the Reese Dual Cam 550# round bars and avoid drilling holes by trying to find the old style hangers with the U bolts. Given that the Minuet frame size is 1 1/4" X 3", I hope it's not a problem finding the right size U bolts. If anyone has any parting advise, please speak up. Geo...

Spring Bars: Round or Trunnion? Any opinions???

The classic Reese Dual Cam setup is still readily available . . . I checked the supplier that Ace Fogdall RV uses at this link and they offer it with either hardware for 4" or 5" frames. It may take a little longer for the 4" kit, but not too much longer . . . I think that mine was delivered in less than 10 days.
