Reese stabilizers

We’re new to this and are having a struggle each time we try to hook up with the Reese stabilizers. Real hard to do. Any input to make it easier would be helpful.

Put trailer on ball, then use jack to raise front enough that bars will be easy to snap up. Use piece of pipe about 24 inches long fit over snap bracket, then will be easy to install bars, reverse when unhooking.

And when you're raising the attached hitch, watch for the hitch rise up from the ball. It's just a half inch or so. Once you see that, raise the jack another inch. Then it should be fairly easy using the above mentioned lever that came with your hitch.

I raise the back of the truck a good 6 or 8 inches with the tongue jack. Makes it VERY easy to deal with.
