For what it's worth I bought a new Reese round bar system last Spring with the intention of adding the dual cam later which I've now purchased.
The hitch head where the wd bars are inserted wore out after only towing for a few thousand miles over this past summer. I'm not happy with the quality of this hitch considering that my old wd hitch was at least 20 years old and still in perfect working order. I called Reese and described this issue to their tech dept. They said that I may have received a hitch head that was out of spec from the factory and had seen a few cases like mine. They shipped me a new hitch head at no cost within a few days. We'll see how this one holds up. I must say that I was impressed with how they stood behind their product. They didn't even have me send in a proof of purchase. I'd think they should have no problem standing behind your issue.
