Reese hitch
Help: I am "over hitched". I have a new 2008 16' Bambi. TV is a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has stiff springs and when hooked up correctly the spring bars hardly bend. With my previous tlr, a non-AR of the same size and wt, I could almost lift the rear wheels of the tv off the ground when going over a big dip. I twice cracked the A frame and the third time I broke the A frame completely off. I don't want to do this to my new AR. My Reese duel cam anti-sway hitch of '60's vintage, has the 750 lb capacity spring bars.
Consequently, I'm looking for the 500 lb bars. These can be identified by measuring the cross section of the bars at the large, trunion end. It should measure 1" x 1" (Mine measure 1 1/8" x 1 1/8"). Does anyone know where I might purchase these??
