reese compatible with valley?

Hi folks, I have reese springbars( trunnion) and a fixed reese hitchhead, now I can buy at Ebay a valley adjustable head ,will the reesebars fit the valleyhead ?i.o.w. are they compatible .

They should be, if they was not there would be a notice or something that says you can only use a certain hitch. I would suggest you check with any dealer that sells reese and ask them. Mine is a reese with a valley Hitchhead but it is not the adjustable and my reese is different than yours.

Reese compatible with Valley?

Round bar weight distribution is interchangeable. With Trunnion style Weight Distribution as in this case, the head/ bars are not interchangeable. Valley trunnion bars are designed with removeable/ replaceable pins whereas the Reese unit has the pins built into the end of the bar socket. Just to clarify, round spring bars attach from the underside of the head and trunnion spring bars attach from the side.
