Reese 3344 drop shank

Does this seem to be drilled in wrong spot for 3344? Can't even see how it would go into receiver. Have similar version with less drop drilled in correct spot. All pictures I see on internet do not match the attached photos. Thanks for help anyone.

Yes indeed. Reese welded it backwards. They said some time it happens.

Made in Mexico. Maybe off a siesta they had a tough time getting back to work.

Sorry for the lack of response. I know for myself - I have no clue what you're talking about - and while that doesn't always stop me from posting 😀 - I do try to keep the "I don't know" posts at bay when possible....glad you got your answer!
