pp clearance issue

I have recently installed a pp on our 2013 International. I located the weight distribution jacks as far back as they can go and still allow the storage compartment door to open. My issue is that the propane tank cover is now wedged in between the jack heads from behind and the trailer jack motor in front, to the point it is being damaged each time I need to remove it to fill a tank. The front of the cover is also pushed in an uncomfortable amount by the trailer jack motor. Rotating the jack motor doesn't look as though I would gain any more space. Has anyone with the front storage compartment had this issue?
Thanks.

Yup, we have the same problem with our 2014 Eddie Bauer 27 with the front hatch. It is really tight between the propane cover and weight distribution bars towers.
We have place several self adhesion cushion pads between the propane tank cover and the WD towers. They seem to help protect the propane tank covers from scratches when we lift the tank cover off.
