Minivan towing advice

I've just purchased a 2015 town & country minivan and need to set it up with a receiver and WD hitch. I'll be pulling a 94 classic 25'. A local company that builds trailers will install the receiver on the TV. In researching the forum I've read that a modification to reinforce the receiver is made by can am. What is it they do? And what WD hitch is recommened or used by you who tow with a minivan?

This is how Andy set us up with the Toyota Sienna:

He also installed a second transmission oil cooler, the seven-pin wiring loom and a basic Eaz-Lift weight distribution and sway reduction system.

RamblinManGa is right, though, get in touch with CanAm RV; Andy T has set up plenty of T&Cs and knows his stuff.

Yes, Can-Am Airstream in London, Ontario has set up over a thousand of these for towing and the customers like them, that's what matters. Contact them, they are towing experts and probably the only hitch installer in North America with the experience to set it up successfully.

If the trip from Texas to Canada is too long for you, then there are people on here who have taken pictures of their setup. Any competent welding shop can duplicate the hitch reinforcement.

We towed with a Honda Odyssey for three years and loved it. Modern minivans make superb tow vehicles.
