Diversi-Tech Universal Trailer Coupler Lock for 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" Couplers Diversi-Tech Locks DT25013

If this shows up ... Here is the one I have been using for about 10 years ... Diversi-Tech universal coupler lock ... Fairly easy to use ... It requires 2 hands but most will anyway

It is on the e trailer web site that you supplied

I have this one, too.
I am also considering getting the "boot" that parking enforcement places on cars- or a chain run through all wheels with a padlock- or a bicycle cable lock run through the wheels-

Lock For My Coupler

Yes indeed, the Canadian California Immobilizer is easy put on and remove. It feels secure and is big yellow & visible!

Just called to order an Immobilizer for myself. They said they sold completely out of the last production run in two weeks and AS model has suddenly become very popular. They have another run in production and will start shipping in a couple of weeks. I would suggest that if you want one of these anytime soon that you get your order in now.

Well, we will just have to take credit for generating that sudden burst in demand, won't we?

We have had this discussion before. Here is a link, http://www.airforums.com/forums/f464...ml#post1050006
California Immobilizer, sounds a little deceptive since it is a Canadian product, or maybe it is slanderous toward Californians, or maybe just a clever marketing ploy. I guess it doesn't matter if it works, that is the main thing.

That mega hitch does look promising, thanks for the link. We'll keep using our immobilizer for now, but I like this one too.

There's a YouTube video where this guy breaks a bunch of models of coupler locks in seconds using a sledge hammer and sawsall. Even if not the thief will simply hook up via the safety chains and travel to a location he can use other means. At best these are deterrents.
