Bad experience is a good teacher

I had the towing experience that will make a sway control bar believer quickly!!! I was towing a dual axle utility with a one ton dually. I had a blow out on the trailer and the load shifted. The ride of a life started quickly. The trailer started to sway so I slowed down the sway got worse. I quickly surmised that maybe if I sped up a bit I could pull out of it. the sway got worse!!! I was lucky and on a four lane with really wide shoulders. I thought I better get this thing off the road before I hit someone. WWWEEELLLL when I hit that grass things really went wild. I locked up the brakes and needless to say I was quickly jack knifed and in for a ride. That grass was like sliding on grease, seemed like my speed increased. Thank goodness there was a fense that finally stopped me. Need i say more, that trailer had no brakes , or sway bars on it. After totalling out bouth units I won't pull without them, when you really need them it is too late.
Tow safely

Few and far between here, but there are few in crew cab. Great looking trucks.

the 156 inch wheelbase dual rw 350 was discontinued 3 years ago.

prior to 08 it was special order and only available in black or white.

dodge still offers the short bed drw trucks.

cheers
