It's back there, under the right conditions you will know it.

We have the BueOx Sway Pro with 1K lbs. bars and are very happy with the ride. Towed 2,800 miles with it on a 2008 Range Rover HSE and 1,500 miles with our current TV. Never any sway with either TV.

Blue Ox makes an excellent product that is much simpler to use than most others and their customer service is one of the best when backing their product.

Our BO with #1000 bars tows beautifully with our 25FC. 10000 miles with all types of weather. It is a breeze to hook up. Rather than battle it with breaker bars, after hooking up the ball, use your jack to lift the assembly. The bars are very easy to attach and secure...almost with one finger. Same when unhitching...raise the assembly to take the tension off the bars then simple and safe to unhitching. Learned this from AS dealer.

As in the owner's manual, it is essential to lift the tongue and TV with the tongue jack when locking and unlocking the chains, if you don't, there is a lot of tension that can hurt you when released. It is still easier and safer with a breaker bar in case you haven't jacked up enough to fully unload the bars.

Blue Ox

I have over 35,000 miles on my BlueOx/23ft Safari SE.No sway ever,no problems. The Safari is a little fat at 5600 lbs,so I use #750 bars on the hitch.

What are the thoughts on the BO on a 34' Classic? Reduce/effective for anti sway?

What is the tongue weight for that beast?

Blue Ox + 25

A Blue Ox came with our used 2007 Classic 25'. I think it was used on a Suburban before we put it on our Expedition, and now we have the hitch on our new Tundra. I had to change hitch heights with each tow vehicle, and the Blue Ox has worked beautifully with both.

I started towing a 2014 FC25FB solar with a 2013 F150 4wd, max tow, max payload, 3.73 axles and an Andersen hitch. The best I could get that combination to do was 900 lbs. over GVW on the drive axle and 350 light on the steer. I had the trailer weighed at Jackson Center and guess what? The tongue weighed 1252 lbs. with "some" water, empty holding tanks, "some" propane and clothing, food, etc. Total cargo was about 700 lbs. or about 800 lbs. under GVW.

I switched to a Blue Ox with 1500 lb. bars. With zero links showing (which required and unorthodox hitching method that made use of a bottle jack) the drive axle was 150 lbs. over and the steer axle was at unhitched weight--the Blue Ox transferred 350 lbs. to it. This would have been okay but the 400 lbs. that were transferred to the trailer axles resulted in a VERY harsh ride back there, based on the stuff that was "out of place" after towing with this setup.

I gave up--traded the Ford for a GMC 2500 Duramax and went back to the Andersen. The GMC's axles are well within its ratings, the trailer seems happy, and I love the Andersen.

The Blue Ox is certainly "good enough" for your 25FB if you have enough TV capacity or don't ever visit a scale. If your 25FB weighs out like mine you may want 1500 lb. bars.
