Just remove the inline fuse to the jack after leveling and casual mischief can be thwarted.

I leave the fuse out when in storage for the same reason and as just another inconvenience for someone interested in "borrowing" the unit.

I've never side-to-side leveled the trailer. Looks like way too much stuff to carry and way too much diddling for me. We level the fore-and-aft by using the jack and we're good to go. If the ground is uneven, I maneuver the trailer with the TV until it looks "good".

I use this technique, but might switch to the beer method as well.

So I use a four foot level on the floor for side to side, if the bubble touches one side, it's one Lego. If its halfway out or more, it's two Legos. I haven't been more than two Legos yet. I then take the level outside and set it on the trim and use the fourteen year old (electric jack went kaput years ago) to crank the level for front to back while I read the bubble for him.

Then the beer.

That's probably the most sensible method suggested so far. Sooner or later you are bound to reach the point where your tilt matches that of the trailer. That's the goal, I believe.
if you don't drink, you could always put newspaper in one shoe, and keep adding more until you lean the proper amount. However if you use that method, remember not to turn around. If you do you will undoubtedly tip over.

Skip the beans and use the beer! Saves steps!
Of all the suggestions I've read on leveling, this makes the most sense to me!
You and I are thinking on exactly the same lines.......people need to have their priorities in the proper perspective!
