Hitch Warning

Someone pulled my hitch pin.

I dropped a car trailer yesterday. Someone had pulled the pin on the hitch. No harm, a little foul and other than ripping the trailer wires out, no damage. I am one lucky fella. A little white knuckle there until I got it to the side of the road but all in all, a very good learning experience. The safety chain and the Angel on my shoulder carried me through. The trailer e-brake was not attached for this run.

On another rig I have a locking hitch pin set-up because someone stole my weight distribution hitch. That Masterlock I cannot remove, I guess it is rusted. Have been doing solvent, pliars and channel locks to try to get it apart, no luck.

So fellows, a bit of a heads up, so it does not happen to you.
