It should be stamped on the coupler its self. Im pretty sure mine is, I know even my flat bed that used to be a Jet ski trailer is stamped with the ball size. Of course your trailer is older so Who know what size they used?

Thanks, yes I know it's a 2" I've towed it all over the place ; )

But I thought to look into it on the forums since we're heading cross country next week and I'm upgrading my safety chains and thought it might be a safety issue. But it looks like since our GT is so light (under 3,000 pounds) it's fine.
