Hi trent, you'll hear all sorts of advice. It will come down to weight and tongue weight of trailer as well as which tow vehicle you're using.
You can look up airstream.com/service for specifications for your trailer to understand the unloaded tongue weight of your model and get a starting point.
There are options for 200 to $4,000 depending on what you want and need.
Inexpensive technology exists which has two weight distribution bars and usually an optional, separate sway control bar (recommended). These kits are usually very affordable and come from brands like Curt, Reece, EZ Lift, etc.
On the top end, there are "pivot point projection" hitches (propride and Hensley) that are a 2-3 K). People swear by them and if you are concerned abou sway, are an expensive, but unbeatable solution.
Use the search feature and you'll find TONS of discussion on hitches as well as pros/cons. YOu can also navigate up to "forums" and find the towing forum and read lots of threads where people have posted questions just like yours.
Welcome to aluminitus! I think you'll find this site has a great community with hundreds of kind and helpful folks.
