If you bought the one in the link for this tread on ebay, it has the 1000 lb bars. Notice the crook on the end? None of the 1400 bars have them. Only 750 and 1000 lb Reese bars have them. Its to be used with their Dual Cam sway control. The older 1000 lb bars like mine dont have them.
All the spring bars will be straight now. We went with Putnam. The Reese and Putnams are interchangable.
Blue and yellow logo stickers make that a VERY old hitch.
Mine had those stickers and its around 8 or 9 years old (forget what Jarrod told me).
From what I was told, only the weight rating was changed and nothing else on the hitch. Can anyone confirm this? Older ones like mine are 10,000/13,000..

Yes, Mike. Other than the spring bars, nothing else has changed. Though I've thought we should add software which will be obsolete after three years so we can sell updates.
considering no warranty, the shipping fee and the need for a new drop bar (who uses 2 inch?)...
and the age, 1375$ seems like a fair price.
but 'winning' bidder didn't make the reserve.
interesting.
2air'
I would say the 2 would fit most applications. A couple inches off wont hurt a thing. I sold my straight bar to a guy that was using a 6 or 8 inch drop. We was way off level and he said it still handled fine. He was way off with the hitch in the air.
