Hensley Cub

I recently purchased a Hensley Cub, from Hensley Mfg. The several times that I tried backing up with it has been very difficult. I was wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience. The manufacture has refused to let me return it. Also a couple of times it was hard to hook up to, because the hitch would swing to one side or the other. Some of my problems my be pilot error.

The Arrow comes with a 60 day money back guarantee. Doesn't the Cub have the same guarantee?

Hensley Cub

Yes their policy is 60 days it has been 71 days from actual prchased date. But less than 60 days since I was able to get all of the correct parts. Wrong stringer and wrong setup for a frame.

The 60 days starts when you can actually USE the hitch. Not from the date of purchase. That is what Terry tells people and also publishes in email.

On the other hand, there is a learning curve that you will need to navigate to get proficient at hitching it up.

We have the larger Arrow and really love it. "Cloudsplitter" (I think it was) pointed me to the 'Hitchin' Posts' from Camping World, and they have made all the difference it getting hooked up in the morning, especially when I have to run solo. From what I see of the Cub in the brochure picture I'll bet they'd help you, too.

Backing control is not significantly different with the Arrow. I don't know how the Cub might handle.

Finally, my experience with customer service and support from Hensley has been superb in every way. I hope Aaron or someone else there can help you out as a result of a phone call to them.
