I had mine rotated when getting some warranty work done at AS service center.

The light and switches now face curb side but it gave the clearance I needed to open tail gate.

Worked it out; loosened three allen-head set screws on the head and rotated the head 90 degrees, so that the light now faces curbside. Tail gate clears. One of the more simple fixes I have had.

The jacks web site said that the head could be rotatted up to 90 degrees either direction, which was reassuring.
