Can I suggest this mirror product instead?

Hitch N Mirror

Over the summer I did about 30 connects with it and made the connection the first time about 28 of the times. No need to get in and out of the TV to see where you are or risk a divorce trying to interpret hand signals or shouts.

I have no connection to the manufacturer except I am a very, very satisfied customer who initially had his doubts it would work so well. Best $40 I ever spent on the trailer.

According to their ad, it is an acrylic mirror rather than glass. While this will keep it from getting broken, have you noticed if it fogs or crazes?

When do you think it will get down to $9.99? I am thinking a section of PVC and a mirror tile.

I use the mirror when moving our coach around our property when I don't wish to bother the missus. It works great. When parking at campsites I enjoy seeing the new hand signals she always comes up with. A couple of times ago she began waving both hands furiously in front of her face. I stopped backing up, placed the car in Park, set the brake, got out and walked back to her. "What was THAT signal for"? I asked. "Bugs," was her reply.
