If I wasn't so lazy, I'd check and see how long ago I posted the washers idea. However here's a scheme for both of us. We have really spooled down the house hunt, because this time of the year houses are dropping off the market several times faster than new ones are coming on.

However, when we finally get to that area, you and I can pool our resources and buy homes (or even Airstreams) with low ball offers. The contract will dupe the sellers into paying for the renovation and then we sell it for a profit. Apparently it must work once in a while.

Ken

On a Safari like mine, if I had this type hitch, I would rather drill through the propane tank base than to use spacers. Spacing up the propane tank base plate would make securing you tanks about the same, but the tank cover would have to be re-adjusted somehow.
Ok thanks everyone for yours info.
