I had to replace my cable on my trip to Alaska. I have the Progress Mfg, Fastway:
Fastway Trailer Products - Fastway Zip Breakaway Cable & Switch
Works great, no problems.

Fastway® Zip Breakaway Cable & Switch Won’t Drag...
The Fastway® Zip™ breakaway cable & switch system is designed not to drag. It keeps the cable up off the ground and out of harm's way while you're towing. And when you're not towing, the cable easily clips to itself and stays out of the way, instead of dangling all over the front of the trailer.

The Fastway® Zip™ breakaway cables come in 4 different options. You can order it as a complete cable and switch (shown above), or a universal replacement cable only (shown to the right); in either a 4' or 6' length. We recommend the 4' length for bumper pull, and 6' length for 5th wheel or gooseneck applications.

• 4' Universal replacement cable only $12.49
• 4' Cable and switch $20.99
• 6' Universal replacement cable only $14.49
• 6' Cable and switch $22.99

Hi, I bought a new replacement cable from an RV store and it only came in one size. I do re-route it now, because weaved throught the chains, was not a good way for it to work properly.
