The little stuff is what gets to us all. Avoids a 127-mph head-on collision, but ready to sell over a component fit aggravation. Yeah, you're in the right place.

Here is a picture of my Mega Hitch lock. It's on pretty tight. It doesn't move around like in their videos. I guess it's secure, but it just doesn't seem right. Is that how yours fits?

We Like the Mega Hitch Lock

We like the Mega Hitch Lock. It can be adjusted somewhat if necessary. I gotta laugh now because on our first time out (at night and in the rain), I couldn't figure out how to attach it. Took it back to the dealer to return because it didn't fit. They showed me how to put it on and it's been easy to use ever since. What I don't know is how easy it would be for a thief to defeat. Anybody know a professional thief who could weigh in with an opinion?

I have seen the Mega Hitch Coupler Locks on the web however, never understood how they work and fit the airstream. I now have a better understanding and need to take fresh look.

Is there a wheel lock for dual axel rigs? To use in addition to a coupler lock?

That looks like how ours fits. Just doesn't seem right, does it? But it works. We had an interesting time with the tech from George Sutton at Alumafandango realizing there is that droop. We were trying to get it to fit over the entire from portion. A call to the manufacturer set us straight.

I agree, it just doesn't seem right. I messed around with it for an hour or so trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I really thought it should go over the whole coupler too. It's reassuring that I'm not the only one thinking that, and that others have worked the manufacturer to ensure we're all OK.

Try a length of vinyl coated chain around / through your wheels... many of the coupler locks can be defeated with a crow / spud bar. YMMV

Yes, we bought one, too...but rarely actually use it for the above reason. Only the honest are deterred!
