Another minor mystery part

There are two of these on opposite sides of the A frame on my 93 Excella. I also have them on my 73 Streamline. Angled the wrong direction for flag holders. Brownie points for the right answer.

Hmmmm - aftermarket add I assume? Either related to a unique hitch assembly or perhaps a hanging place for the safety chains when camping so they don't stay on the ground - possibly a beer bottle opener?

They are for holding the round bar spring bars for a WD hitch when not in use. Keeps them off the ground and keeps the greasy end covered.

I win the prize, I win the prize! And I know I am right too... I have seen them in use.

idroba is correct...I have them on my trailer and they're very handy for WD bar storage
