Andersen Rapid Hitch? opinions?

Hi

I saw an Andersen Rapid hitch on a Ford 250 truck today, the build quality and functionality looked good, does anyone use one with their AS?

Larger Aistreams and some will say all Airstreams need a weight distributing hitch with sway control.

I have seen these before. They are very nice looking and a great choice for someone who routinely pulls different small trailers.
However when I compare the construction and lack of any diagonal supporting parts, I am having a hard time believing the weight ratings, unless someone has developed aluminum that is stronger than steel.

I definitely would not pull a 10,000 # trailer with it. But, that's just my opinion, I'm definitely no expert.

Regards,

Ken

I have seen these in person at our tire shop. They service a lot of people who switch between horse trailers, farm utility trailers, boats, etc, and apparently they trust them.

What is the 'greaseless alumiball' they offer?
