I bought one in anticipation of a new trailer purchase.

I ended up buying a used trailer that had a Propride 3P hitch, so it wouldn't work. RMA'd it before using it.

It is a very stout lock, quite heavy. If I could have used it with the 3P, I would have kept it for sure...IMO it appeared to be the best one out there.

Airstream Trailer Lock

Sadly, if someone really wants it, wrapping a chain around the tongue and the hitch on the getaway vehicle will do the deed.

I'm partial to an alert neighbor and an NRA sticker on the fence. Won't go into the other tools I keep close at hand. Neighborhood armed security patrol is also very comforting.

If I personally owned the parking spot, my safety chains would be locked to an eyebolt or rebar arch buried in a few yards of high-strength concrete under the driveway. That would slow them down a bit.

But that's what so great about this lock!!!! You can wrap the chains inside the inner shield of the lock. I'm not saying it's impossible for them to getaway with the trailer but it would sure take a lot of time and effort, I think they would just move on to the next one !
Check out this link!

Thanks,
Randy

Not on the Airstream. The Airstream model doesn't support the chain locks like that. It does have a hole for you to add a padlock.
