30 amp fuse size for LEVELRITE High Power 3000

We have a 2015 27FB FC - nothing wrong with my power jack yet - but want to have a spare 30 amp fuse on hand.

The Jack is made by Barker Mfg.

I went by an RV supply store nearby & they didn't carry them. Then went to auto supply store & found 2 different sizes 1) 30 Amp AGC & 2) 30 Amp SFE.

Can someone please tell me the size that goes with this jack?

Thanks,

Glenn

You are looking for a 30A MDL fuse, the ones you have listed are for light bulbs and not an electric motor. The MDL designates a slow burning fuse. Napa Auto parts has these.

Well, that explains why mine isn't working... I think.

Available from NAPA

Side note, I notice that Brute is using a 30amp resetable circuit breaker in their 5000 pound jack. Seems like a very good idea to me.

Also, Barker sent me a pack of 3 for free after I called them for some trouble shooting assistance.

Hey Chief, I saw your and others post about the Brute on another thread. Going to be ordering it. My Barker was on the fritz regardless and I suspect there is more wrong than the fuse. I'm going to post this question on that thread once I find it again but installing the Brute, does the power wire come with the eyelet already crimped on? If so, did you cut it and reinstall it to feed through the existing hole in the battery box?

Been recovering from pneumonia. Not fun, I do not recommend it.
I have not ordered the new jack, yet. Hopefully in a couple of weeks will feel like tackeling the project. My last replacement jack came with wire bare end, no eyelet installed. I would guess the Brute 5000 will be the same. Easy DIU job. Three bolts, one wire and a couple of crimps. 1/2 hour project.

I ordered it today. $269 on Amazon. I'm really surprised it's that cheap. Wasn't Prime so it'll probably take a while to get here. Will advise how it goes. Meanwhile, quit faking and feel better.
