half dozen of one.... actually, if i'd known the other make had a 2" receiver, i would have gone that way... can you see any issues with permanently welding (AOT just a few tacks) the sleeve in there?
I know a lot have people have done it and haven't heard of any problems. Shouldn't be a problem.
2008 30’ Slide. 2005 Suburban 2500 4x4. Hensley Arrow 1400/14000. P3 controller…. As good as it gets. Great weight distribution, smooth ride. Left a half-full open bottle of Desani water on kitchen counter… was right where I left it 200 miles later- I kid you not.
Same trailer/hitch/controller but with: 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 (single drive wheels) 4x2 Diesel. Pounded the snot out of a/s. 15 mile test drive- all drawers out of cabinets, doors open… the fire extinguisher actually came off the wall, and the pin came out of the can… it was like ten rounds with Sonny Liston

Guess you could say..Ram Tough is sometimes too much.
But actually that bodes the same for all Brands. A tough truck
most definitely... i had the 'burb configuration at the second hole... moved to third hole (up) for the 3500, and let the jacks out 1" past the 3rd cut line... so i was really backing off the WD... i havent hit the scales with it yet... but the attitude/rake on the truck was almost perfectly level (its got a pretty good rake to it unloaded)
