1960 Pacer Ball Height for hitch

I am going to be picking up my first Airstream. To make sure I get the correct hitch attachment for my truck I am looking for the size ball the Airstream hitch will be looking for and what is the height of the trailer hitch when it is level to make sure I get the correct height adjuster for my truck. Hope my question makes sense. Thanks for any help. JON

Lucki,
The hitch height for a 1960 Pacer will be 19". But I am nor sure of the ball size. I am sure somebody else will chime in. Congratulations and ppost some pictures once you get her home.

Lucki,
Researching a little here on the forums it seems like the ball size will be either 2" or 2 5/16". The consensus for lighter '60's models is 2". But if the current owner does not know you may want to take both sizes, because you never know what as previous owner might have done.

19", all Airstreams start at 19". Sagging axles will drop that height. 2" was the original size. Real vintage trailers are all 2" unless someone committed sacrilege and took it in to be converted to 2 5/16".
