2015 Ram ecodiesel and 2014 Bambi 16, towing mileage is from 17 to 21 depending on terrain empty I've gotten as good as 31mpg. Pretty amazing truck with more torque than the hemi at a lower rpm! I'm sure the 8 spd automatic transmission is a part of this equation too.

Took a 4700 mile trip last summer through up, down and flat terrain towing a 22' International with a 5.0L Ford F-150 and averaged 13.2 mpg. Tried very hard to never go over 60 mph.

10 mpg - 1997 Tahoe LS with a 350 fuel injected engine. 23' AS. Once the fuel gauge hits 1/2 I start looking for a gas station because 1/2 is actually about 12 gallons left. My 32 gallon tank is great to have!

Totally Surprised!!

Pulling a 2000 34' A/S with empty tanks but loaded including solar & 4 heavy batteries with pickup bed full & a P3 hitch, I averaged 13.3 MPG pulling from Phoenix to Denver with a 2015 3/4 T. Duramax. I estimate about 10,500 lbs.
On a shorter pull of about 200 miles in Northern Colorado I got 15.6 MPG. Total miles on the truck is 3,500 miles.
Without pulling I average on the Hwy. around 18 MPG.

No complaints here!!

12 honest miles going cross country from Idaho to Florida and back annually going a about 65 on interstates, 60 on highways with my 2012 5.3L Tahoe. Note that I take it out of tow-mode on flat/moderately hilly sections, but keep it in tow mode in the hills. jon

Rivet diesel mileage

While towing our 2005 Safari behind the 2003 Dodge with the 5.9 Cummings and manual 5 spd , with the stock under bed tank and a 90 gallon tank in the bed , we filled up in Grande Prairie Alberta , and traveled across British Columbia and the Yukon to Tok Alaska with side trips to Sgagway Alaska and Dawson city in the Yukon . a distance of over 1800 miles between fuel stops . Did not caculate the exact MPG though .
