forget to mention 2 other things re the front rack;
1/ there is this bracket from arvika needed to mount the rack
7000 SÚrie : 7000-AF AR
2/ our dealer, canam, added a custom extra connection, attaching the rack to the propane tank casing on the front, to prevent the possibility of the rack bouncing up during travel in which case the handle bars could potentially hit the window, which would be all bad...

and, for the rear rack;
the rack seemed to bend after it was installed (and it had to be replaced) which further interfered with opening the rear storage door, maybe because the rack is aluminum (the bikes we put on back are the kids bikes, so they're not particularly heavy...). personally, I feel it could be a design flaw...but i'll let others figure that out...

Nice Lou, I love that combo. Cleaning out our trailer after we bought it, I found receipts that showed our Globetrotter was towed in the early 70s by a '68 Ford F100. I love those old trucks.

Our C10 is actually a very basic 6 cylinder model. No power brakes or steering and a manual transmission. When we bought it, we were towing a very small and light 13-foot SOB. As it happens, the overbored 292 ( about 5.0 liter) has the muscle to tow the TradeWind easily, and the combination of coil springs with half-elliptical overload leaves gives it a very comfortable ride. We do find ourselves in the right lane over the mountains, but fuel mileage is surprisingly good.

Thank you for the comments. My wife and I truly enjoy the simpler (older) stuff and I especially like the repairability with only basic hand tools.

CrispyBoy, I see why the decision is difficult. That Wagoneer is too cool. Then again, how often do you see J20's these days? Always liked the way those trucks looked so rugged.

I'll bet Andy T can fix you up with a hitch setup that will make that work.
