Hi I am still restoring my flying cloud!

Question I would like to tow my trailer that weights about 2000kgs plus I would like to have room in the vehicle to add another 600kgs of materials! With in thought of in Switzerland there's mountains and we don't have f250etc in my price range!

The vast majority of people on this forum are in the USA or Canada, and so are not familiar with the tow vehicles you mention.

With that understood, I would suggest you look for the vehicle with the most weight carrying capacity, and engine torque you can find in your price range.

Good luck with your search.

You have many diesel options that aren't available to us here in North America. I believe the Volvo station wagon was rated the top tow vehicle in Europe not too long ago. You also have the VW Touareg, BMW X3 and X5, etc. Also, the Flying Cloud weighed in at about 2540 pounds with a hitch weight of 250 pounds. I think that you have many options for towing.

Agree with Cameron... Some of the best TV's available come from Europe. Lots of punch in a nice sized package. Will you have access to a WDH?

What's a KG?

VW TDI Touareg would thus be my suggestion for being out there in Europe with the option of brands that you mentioned...
